This is a translation provided for convenience. The Italian version is the legally binding one: in case of any discrepancy, the Italian text prevails.
1. Who runs the site
The site jakeart.dev is run by Ariel Samson (JakeART), Prata di Pordenone (PN), Italy — contact: jakeart.portfolio@gmail.com.
2. What this site is
It is a personal portfolio: it gathers completed projects, demonstration examples and technical demos. It is not an online shop, it does not display price lists and it does not allow contracts to be concluded.
No content published here constitutes a public offer under art. 1336 of the Codice Civile (Italian Civil Code) or a contractual proposal. In particular the configurator on the Demo page concerns an invented product and fictional amounts: it is there to show a programming technique and is not a quote, an estimate or a price commitment. The example pages and the demonstration data shown on them are likewise invented.
Filling in the contact form does not create any obligation: neither for you to give me a job, nor for me to accept it or to reply within a set time.
3. Intellectual property
Text, source code, graphics, animations, video and the structure of the site belong to Ariel Samson, except where otherwise stated, and are protected by the L. 633/1941 (Italian Copyright Law, Law 633/1941), including artt. 64-bis and following for software. The fact that the code can be read in the browser is not a waiver of these rights.
You may browse the site and quote short excerpts with attribution. Without my written authorisation, reproduction, republication, distribution or commercial use of the content, even partial, is not allowed, nor is turning it into products or services for third parties.
The names, trademarks and logos of the projects shown in the Portfolio section belong to their respective owners and are mentioned solely to describe the work carried out, in line with the principles of fair professional conduct set out in art. 21 of D.Lgs. 30/2005 (Italian Industrial Property Code). If you own one of these marks and want the reference removed, write to me: I'll take it down.
4. Reviews submitted by users
By submitting a review through the site's form, you declare and accept that:
- the review is yours, truthful and refers to a job I actually carried out for you;
- it does not contain third parties' data, or offensive, unlawful content, or content covered by others' rights;
- you grant me a non-exclusive, free and revocable right to publish it on this site together with your name and, if you provide it, your business name;
- publication is not automatic: I review every submission and remain free not to publish it, without having to give a reason;
- you can ask for it to be removed at any time by writing to me, as explained in the privacy notice.
I only publish reviews from people I have genuinely worked with, after checking them one by one. I do not use purchased, exchanged or artificially generated reviews.
5. Links to external sites
The site contains links to resources run by third parties (the sites of the portfolio projects, WhatsApp). I have no control over that content and I am not responsible for its availability, accuracy, or the terms applied by whoever runs it.
6. Site availability and liability
The site is offered "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation: I may suspend, change or discontinue it at any time. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the mandatory rights that the law grants to consumers.
7. Changes
I may update these terms: the applicable version is the one published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.
8. Governing law
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory jurisdiction of the court of the place where you reside or have chosen domicile remains unaffected, under art. 66-bis of the Codice del Consumo (Italian Consumer Code).
